Support linking an account to an openid for logging in without password.

Status: under review

As we expand our userbase, this will definitely be something we'll look at doing!

    I want it too

  2. should be a no-brainer now that google serves as openID provider and using a google account to create an account here already works.

  3. need it

google and yahoo, for couple examples, already use openid and "myopenid" isn't the only service that's providing their open protocol. Right now we're in the "new protocol" being spread and it will find difficulties with standards, so developers at places like vark will have trouble to make it working for every service using it, as they are not all that compatible.

but yeah, this should be done. :)

  5. Using RPXNOW 's service is simple and boosts more users. Users who don't have openId too can sign up If they have the account in yahoo, gmail ,aol or any of 12 other services like kivejournal, blogspot etc.,

@Star: Because it is a rather simple sign-in solution with you not having to remember a separated username and password for every single site because someone else was lucky to get your nickname before you did. Compared to the Facebook sign-in solution is that it isn't owned by single provider and that you can have for instance your own domain as OpenID.

OpenID is the best single-sign-in out there.
