Could Aardvark tell us how we are doing at answering?

Some kind of general ranking system? It could be based on the number of answers given, and/or a rating system where questioners could rate the quality of the answers.

Currently, you can rate the quality of the answers you receive by typing 'train' over IM or in your question history (http://vark.com/history). We use these to decide who to send questions to in the future, but don't share them with anyone for a number of reasons. It makes sense though that people want a better sense of their actions on Aardvark. One thing that we're currently working on is providing stats. You'll be able to see how many questions you've asked, answered and referred soon, and we'll be adding many other stats soon after.

If there are any other ways we could help give you a better sense of how you're doing, I'd love to hear them!

i like this idea alot, it would be like yahoo's point system. as long as you don't have to have a minimum amount of points to let's say...rate an answer, i think it's a great idea :D

  2. I would love to see statistics such as what percentage of my answers were helpful.

I recently have answered 12 questions. I've got a "thanks" for 2 of them and I have no idea how the other answers went. I don't mind if whoever made the question don't want to give feedback, but I want to know if that IS the case.

And I also would love to see all other answers, not just mine, for two reasons:
    - When I ask questions I see people answering repeated stuff just because they don't know it was already discussed!
    - Plus, if I'm answering something it's because the topic interests... more

  4. It would be nice to at least track how many happy ("thanks") response's we get.
